Community Partnerships
Joining Hands….
The Collective Strength of Community Partnerships
What are community partnerships and how are they relevant to mental health?
Quite simply, community partnerships allow us to make a wider positive impact.
Our healthcare system is full of gaps - gaps in quality, accessibility, and cultural responsiveness.
We believe that mental health is political - it has to be. Building a happier and healthier society requires our team and our organization’s commitment to social justice and progressive advocacy work. We know that promoting mental health and well-being extends far beyond the therapy room.
We believe collaborative relationships form the foundation of supportive, inclusive environments where mental health services and resources are widely accessible.
By joining forces with local organizations, schools, community centres and other partners, we have more power to:
Increase awareness and reduce stigma around mental health issues
Provide greater access to mental health education and support services
Strengthen the network of care for individuals and families
Respond to the unique needs of our community and gaps in care
At Cherry Tree community collaboration takes several forms. Educational and informative workshops, support groups, health fairs and awareness events, consultation services and sharing our platform are some ways we give back. Cultivating meaningful relationships with other healthcare providers, first responders, community centres and businesses are at the heart of this initiative and take a united approach to mental health.
We are committed to showing up as an active, engaged partner dedicated to the overall well-being of our community.
Whether partnering on new programs, sharing our expertise, or working together on a shared vision, we believe these partnerships make us stronger together. By harnessing the power of community, we can create lasting change and a brighter future for mental health.
What we desire for ourselves, we wish for all.
We welcome collaboration opportunities that align with our mission of providing exceptional therapeutic services in an environment of compassion, inclusion, and hope.
