Introducing Nurse Michelle!

Curious about the difference between a Nurse Psychotherapist and a Registered Psychotherapist?

  • A nurse psychotherapist is a registered nurse (RN) who has undergone additional training and education to specialize in psychotherapy.

In addition to providing psychotherapy, they may have a broader understanding of medical and biological factors that can influence mental health.

  • Nurse Jen brings a holistic understanding to mental health, incorporating both psychological and medical aspects. This can be particularly beneficial for clients with health-related concerns or those seeking integrated care. She can provide information about lifestyle changes, stress management, and other health-related practices that can positively impact mental well-being.

  • Absolutely! With a nursing background, a Nurse Psychotherapist has a solid foundation in medical knowledge. This can be advantageous when working with clients who have physical health issues or are navigating the intersection of mental and physical well-being.
